The latest (at the time I’m writing this at least) iteration of Roy!
There were way too many problems with the old model (bad topology, unnecessary detail on areas where it wouldn’t make a difference, gross fish face) so a large amount of this model was completely remade.

This model (just like the last two) has bones and can be posed.

A look at the front of the model.

Now a look at the back.

A closer look at one of his arms.

And also the legs.

A look at the head. For this version I used hair cards, which are essentially shaped planes with a hair texture on them to resemble hair.

In this version I decided to give his neck some of the cyborg body material, and add some big metal implant things. The hexagon pattern on the scarf was made by me in GIMP.

Here’s a look at the back of the head. You can see the artificial spine goes up the neck and to the back of the head, like a real one does.

Here’s a better look at Roy’s sword.

Here’s what the actual blade of the sword looks like. The blade glows orange because it’s superheated.

The model in wireframe mode to show topology. The topology looks strange from a distance because the way I modeled the muscles was by sculpting low resolution icospheres(spheres made out of triangles).

The model in viewport shading with wireframe turned on. Notice the UV sphere compared to the muscles.
Above there are two links to the previous versions of Roy. Even at just a glance I can notice obvious improvements with the new model.
